Vampire Procedures

Vampire Facial® at All Star Wellness Center

Your skin is prone to developing many cosmetic flaws. Your skin’s tone and texture can become uneven as you age due to hyperpigmentation and sunspots, and acne breakouts can leave you with unsightly scars. In addition, a common cosmetic flaw for everyone as they age, lines and wrinkles can start defining your face as your production of collagen, a protein that influences your skin’s firmness, declines. These cosmetic issues can be a constant source of anxiety and stress, preventing you from feeling comfortable in your skin. There’s no need to settle with them, though, considering that you could undergo a Vampire Facial®.

A Vampire Facial® is a unique opportunity to revive your skin’s health by combining the power of microneedling with the application of your blood, which is chock-full of stimulating growth factors. The rejuvenating treatment is offered at All Star Wellness Center of Maryland and performed under the expert guidance of our wellness experts. If you’re interested in learning more about Vampire Facial® and how it can benefit you, please contact us at 443-808-1808 or visit our contact page.

What Is a Vampire Facial®?

A Vampire Facial® involves two things: microneedling and the extraction of your blood to purify and turn into platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Microneedling is a procedure that involves making thousands of tiny holes in your skin to create micro-channels and stimulate your skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin. The procedure is an excellent way to give your face a youthful glow, but it gets even better when combined with PRP. PRP is a substance that consists of white and red blood cells and platelets, which contribute to growth functions. During a Vampire Facial®, PRP is introduced to the microchannels created in your skin after microneedling, helping amplify your collagen production, increase your cell turnover rate and stimulate the growth of new blood vessels. A Vampire Facial® creates long-lasting, rejuvenating results.

What Cosmetic Concerns Can Vampire Facial® Correct?

A Vampire Facial® is an exceptional treatment for a number of cosmetic concerns. Issues that you can potentially improve by having a vampire facial performed include:

  • Poor skin tone and texture
  • Volume loss in the face
  • Enlarged pores
  • Wrinkles near the mouth, eyes and nose
  • Dark circles beneath the eyes
  • Shallow scarring that’s a result of acne
  • Age spots and sunspots
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Mild skin laxity

During an initial Vampire Facial® consultation, your cosmetic concerns will be reviewed to determine if a Vampire Facial® is an appropriate treatment.

What Happens During a Vampire Facial®

During a Vampire Facial®, the microneedling device is stamped evenly across your skin, puncturing the upper layers of skin and stimulating your collagen and elastin fibers. The device is typically stamped in the same areas two to six times to ensure consistency. The treatment is generally tolerable, it causes a slight pricking sensation with each stamp, but you will be given a topical anesthetic to help mitigate any discomforts.

After the microneedling step for your Vampire Facial®, the PRP is applied to your skin. The PRP is prepared by removing blood from your skin and putting it into a small vial. This vial is then put into a centrifuge, a circular device that rotates rapidly, which separates excess blood from the vital, enriching nutrients. The nutrient-rich PRP is applied to your skin and reaches your lower layers through the thousands of micro-channels.

Refresh Your Skin with a Vampire Facial® at All Star Wellness Center of Maryland

Perhaps you have shallow scars along your forehead or temple that resulted from acne in your teen years, or maybe you’re starting to notice wrinkling at the sides of your nose and mouth. These are all frustrating cosmetic concerns. But the good news is that they all can be treated with an exceptional cosmetic treatment, a Vampire Facial®.

Proudly offered at All Star Wellness Center, a Vampire Facial® can help rid your skin of unsightly cosmetic blemishes. If you’re a Maryland resident and are considering a vampire facial, please contact us at 443-808-1808 or visit our contact page.

In days past, vaginal health was something that was rarely talked about, even considered taboo to discuss among mixed company. It was a time when the issues that surrounded a woman’s vagina were hers and hers alone to deal with.

Luckily, those times have gone, and now women everywhere are free and even encouraged to seek out help for their vagina-related issues. And the O-Shot is one of those rare treatments that can reliably help in more ways than one.

What Is the O-Shot?

You’ve probably heard of treatments like the Vampire Facial or other cosmetic procedures that use your own blood as an active ingredient in the treatment. The O-Shot is just another variation of these types of treatments, but one that has been developed specifically to improve vaginal health.

By drawing blood, purifying it in a centrifuge and re-injecting it into targeted areas in your vagina like the labia, G-spot and clitoris, a host of different health benefits can be achieved. This purified blood, referred to as platelet-rich plasma, is full of naturally occurring growth factors that allow for these health benefits.

Why Should I Get an O-Shot?

In most cases, women turn to the O-Shot to address sexual dysfunction, a health condition that up to 43% of women can suffer from. (If it wasn’t obvious, the “O” stands for “orgasm.) While it is a great way to address this issue, the O-Shot can also help patients who are suffering from decreased libido, stress urinary incontinence, dryness, urge urinary incontinence, lichen sclerosus, lichen planus, chronic pain, fecal incontinence and chronic interstitial cystitis.

If you are tired of dealing with any of these vaginal conditions, the O-Shot is a reliable, safe way to remedy them. It is vital for your medical professional to have a clear idea of your unique goals for the procedure and medical history. Most people are good candidates for an O-Shot, but you cannot be cleared entirely until you have done a consultation with a medical professional.

What Should I Expect During an O-Shot Procedure?

The procedure is reasonably straightforward; a sample of blood is taken from your arm and then purified in a medical-grade centrifuge. A medical professional then takes the purified blood and injects it into the targeted area (usually the G-spot, clitoris or labia). The whole treatment process can take as little as 45 minutes.

How Much Does an O-Shot Cost?

There are numerous considerations that go into the cost of your treatment, including the extent of your procedure and the expertise of your medical professional. During your initial consultation, our office will provide you with an accurate estimate for your treatment so that you can make your decision on proceeding with the treatment with resolute numbers and information.

Platelet-rich plasma isn’t exactly a new medical breakthrough anymore. It has been used for years to improve the results of cosmetic procedures like vampire facials and has been used even longer as a serum to help with sports and tendon injuries, osteoarthritis and postsurgical wounds — all with staggering results.

But what most people don’t know is that there is a less-known application for PRP that is specifically tied to male sexual health and confidence. General sexual and erectile dysfunction have shown to be significantly improved by the introduction of PRP.

That’s a bold claim and one that is incorrectly made by tons of magic solution companies with no scientific backing. But the P-Shot (Priapus Shot) is different. It uses the decades of medical research and science around PRP to achieve the results it claims to provide.

What Is the P-Shot?

Simply put, the P-Shot is a minimally invasive procedure that injects PRP directly into parts of your penis. But what is PRP, and where does it come from?

Glad you asked. PRP derives directly from your own blood. One of our medical professionals will take a modest sample of your blood, similar to when you have blood work performed. The blood will then be placed into a centrifuge to separate the most beneficial healing factors from the rest of the solution. The final product — a concentrated concoction of naturally produced components — is then injected into your penis for the desired results.

Why Should I Get a P-Shot?

If you are experiencing erectile dysfunction, lack of sexual confidence, dissatisfaction with your penis size or general feelings of self-consciousness around sexual performance, you are likely someone who should be considering a P-Shot. You should take solace in knowing that you aren’t the only one dealing with these concerns.

According to UW Health, once you get to the age of 40, 5% of men experience complete erectile dysfunction — a number that shoots up to 15% by the time the age of 70 rolls around. But the numbers for mild and moderate cases are even higher: about 10% for every ten years of life (i.e., 30% at the age of 30, 50% at the age of 50, etc.).

You have plenty of company in your sexual health woes, and now you know that there is a solution that can help you solve them.

What Should I Expect During a P-Shot Procedure?

Here are the steps to a P-Shot procedure:

  1. Blood is drawn from your arm and transferred to a centrifuge
  2. The centrifuge creates the platelet-rich plasma
  3. A local numbing cream is applied to the surface of your penis and a local anesthetic is injected at the base of your penis
  4. The PRP is injected into your penis at multiple locations
  5. In some cases, a penis pump may be used to spread the PRP
